Regional Program Manager

Position Description
The Regional Program Manager implements and manages daily operations of JA learning experiences in the North Region for overall program strategy and in support of JANJ’s strategic plan. The position works with the Vice President of Education, and other JANJ associates to increase public awareness within the North Region, assures program quality and expansion, establishes and stewards relationships with school districts, develops the regional yearly planning calendar, and maintains accurate records for data analysis and reporting. The Program Manager may interface with the North Board as needed.
Location
The Regional Program Manager must be available to serve as the customer relationship manager for all activities that serve schools and students from their assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee school outreach, registration, and program implementation in the North Region with emphasis on quality and quantity to meet annual regional impact goals.
- Manage school and district programming according to established school district Memorandums of Understanding/Service Agreements and registration forms.
- Secure required documentation and information from schools in a timely manner to support effective delivery of JA programs (i.e., student attendance, preparation level, etc.)
- Assure adherence to program implementation models, file all needed program variances, and track and monitor progress in achieving regional goals.
- Facilitate school and educator trainings and ongoing support to ensure partners receive the tools and information required to effectively implement JA programs in their classrooms.
- Manage inventory and distribution of student and educator in-class curriculum and materials.
- Plan and execute regional program events, including agenda, outreach, registration, and all logistics.
- Provide volunteer training and support for regional JA learning experiences to ensure quality, meaningful engagement.
- Assist the Vice President for Education in the delivery of sales presentations to new districts and prospective schools to build strong relationships within the North Region.
- Collaborate with community partners and higher education institutions.
- Assure adherence to program implementation models and file all needed program variances.
- Other duties as assigned, including some early mornings, weeknights, and weekends.
Qualifications: Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in program or event management, business, customer service, or education.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to present to groups of educators, corporate/community volunteers, and students from urban and suburban school districts.
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Goal driven, self-starter and team player who enjoys providing exceptional customer-focused service.
- Punctual and reliable with collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
