We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and driven PT Event & Fundraising Coordinator to elevate our event experiences and enhance our donor engagement. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling and remote work availability.
What You’ll Do
Fundraising & Development Support:
-Collaborate with the President & CEO to meet annual fundraising goals.
-Help secure corporate sponsors, individual donors, and in-kind gifts for major events.
-Coordinate event-based fundraising campaigns, including paddle raises, auctions, and other giving strategies.
-Identify and engage potential new donors through strategic outreach.
Event Planning & Execution:
-Plan and execute high-impact, mission-focused events including the Business Hall of Fame, Bowl-a-Thon, and Golf Tournament.
-Enhance guest experience with thoughtful touches that reflect the JA brand and elevate the overall feel of events.
-Manage event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics from start to finish.
-Ensure donor/sponsor recognition is timely, creative, and aligned with brand standards.
Communications & Stewardship:
-Support the creation of event materials, donor communications, and promotional content.
-Assist in post-event reporting, sponsor follow-up, and impact storytelling.
-Collaborate with the broader JA team to align events with organizational goals.
What We’re Looking For
-2 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit events, or hospitality preferred.
-Strong organizational and project management skills.
-Comfort and confidence in reaching out to sponsors and donors.
-A creative mind with an eye for design and experience delivery.
-Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic fundraising/event platforms (like Canva, Constant Contact, Eventbrite, etc.).
-A passion for youth development and the mission of Junior Achievement!
