We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tournament Prep Director to lead our premier junior golf tournament preparation program. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training plans tailored to the needs of competitive junior golfers. You will mentor athletes by developing their technical skills, refining their course management strategies, and strengthening their mental toughness to ensure they are fully prepared for success in high-level tournament play.

The Junior Golf Preparatory Academy (JGPA) provides dynamic and educational golf experiences for children aged 2-15. As the largest junior golf program in Central Florida, we proudly serve over 2,000 participants across four locations and offer consulting services to international golf federations. About the Role
Are you passionate about golf and eager to motivate young athletes? Join us as a Tournament Prep Director, where you will oversee JGPA’s premier program for competitive junior golfers. You’ll work closely with players aged 10-15, developing comprehensive plans that include technical training, course strategy, mental performance, and tournament preparation.
In this leadership role, you will:
- Manage on-course and off-course instruction, including private lessons.
- Maintain constant communication with parents to tailor programs to individual goals.
- Track performance through scoring data, goal sheets, and video analyses.
- Inspire young golfers to perform at their best while cultivating a fun and positive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee the Tournament Prep Program, ensuring a structured and personalized approach for each athlete.
- Player Development: Provide technical instruction, course management strategies, and mental coaching.
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with parents, providing progress reports and schedule updates.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor player statistics, tournament results, and areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with assistant coaches and academy staff to enhance the overall player experience.
Compensation & Perks:
- Base Salary: $1,500 per month, with an additional $216.67 per month for Tournament Prep Director responsibilities.
- Commission: 30% commission on individual training plans and private lessons.

Schedule:
- Weekday Classes: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Weekend Classes: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, including tournaments and additional training sessions as needed.
- Hours: Approximately 35 - 40 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate tournament schedules and program needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience in junior golf
- Experience working in a golf academy environment
- Collegiate golf experience required
- Personal experience competing as a junior golfer with a strong understanding of the competitive junior golf landscape
- Technically trained with a solid foundation in golf fundamentals and advanced techniques
- Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage groups of kids and maintain a positive learning environment
- High energy, adaptable, and calm under pressure
- Professional demeanor when engaging with parents and students
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
