What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional 2024-2025 position at Junior High?
Candidate should:
- Enjoy working with young students, their parents, faculty and staff members
- Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
- Ideal candidate should possess excellent student care skills including but not limited to feeding, assisting, toileting, and direct instruction
- Possess computer literacy skills and office equipment knowledge
- Completed a minimum of 48 college hours or hold a paraprofessional certification by completing the TOPs Training
- Must pass criminal history/fingerprinting requirements
- Possess the ability to work a 187-work day calendar
Salary commensurate with years of service and qualifications
