Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and express themselves.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing strong classroom management skills to maintain order.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and developmental needs are met.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate findings with parents or guardians.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for all children.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support children with disabilities or special needs.
- Organize daily activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom and daycare facilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment.
- Experience with infant care is highly desirable.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- A nurturing attitude towards children along with strong communication skills to engage with parents and staff.
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
