The Junior League of Raleigh is looking for a Community Coordinator role to support our organization. This role is responsible for management of mail processing, rental scheduling, and invoicing while coordinating hostesses and maintaining rental procedures. Supports lease negotiations, marketing efforts, and community partner advisor engagement, ensuring alignment with governance standards. Oversees facility access, incident reporting, and event coordination to enhance organizational efficiency.
The Junior League of Raleigh (JLR) is a local chapter of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Administrative duties
- Pick up, process and distribute mail including depositing checks and distributing bills.
- Works with JLR leaders to ensure consistency and alignment with JLR governance standards.
- Maintain records of community partners, Quick Impact requestors, and rental history.
- Maintaining a credit card check out system for members.
- Community Advisor Breakfast Coordination twice annually.
- Collaborate with League members, leadership and other staff members as appropriate.
- Records and maintains incident reports at CCL and follows JLR Risk Plan protocols.
- Maintaining a credit card check out system for members in coordination with League Leadership and other staff.
Building duties
- Maintain CCL rental calendar and hostess shifts in coordination with League Leadership.
- Maintain and develop processes for rental procedures.
- Raising invoices for daily rentals.
- Set up and take down furniture and AV setup for renters and tenants as needed.
- Draft, track and negotiate leases with support of Property Manager and League Leadership to maximize income from the budget.
- Support building marketing materials for the building rentals, tenants, and community engagement opportunities.
- Engage with and support community members when renting the CCL.
- Records and maintains incident reports at CCL follows JLR Risk Plan protocols.
- Responsible for the key card/fob access system, tenant and rental access, and vendor access to building when maintenance is needed in collaboration with League Leaders and onsite staff.
