What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Host position at Junior playland?
As a Party Host, you’ll be the face of the fun at Junior Playland! You’ll ensure that every birthday party and special event runs smoothly, making sure the kids have a blast and parents feel stress-free. Your role is to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with event setup, interact with children, and create an unforgettable party experience. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout and after each event. Candidates with experience creating balloon arches will receive higher pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome party guests upon arrival.
- Set up party areas with decorations, food, and supplies.
- Lead fun activities, games, and ensure the party runs on schedule.
- Assist parents with any needs during the party (e.g., serving food, organizing cake cutting, etc.).
- Clean and reset the party area before, during, and after each event.
- Ensure all party supplies, decorations, and trash are properly cleaned up post-event.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the party and play areas at all times.
- Create a safe and enjoyable environment for children and families.
- Ensure excellent customer service by communicating clearly with guests.
- Create balloon arches and other decorative elements (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (preferred but not required).
- Outgoing, energetic, and friendly personality.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to cleaning and organization.
- Experience with balloon arches or event decor is a plus and will be compensated accordingly.
