Night Managers are responsible for supporting the store leaders by providing primarily evening operational coverage. The Night Manager monitors employee performance and addresses departmental and total store safety issues in the absence of the Store Director.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in supervising, including experience in interviewing, training, ensuring accountability, and evaluating employees. They should also have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing plans within budget.
Additionally, the candidate should possess outstanding customer service skills and be able to lift and carry 40-60 lbs. on a regular basis. They should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, squatting, bending, sitting, balancing, and body rotation.
Strong decision-making skills, social skills, and verbal interaction abilities are crucial. Basic reading, writing, and math skills are also necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
