Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide exceptional customer service while preparing, packaging, and displaying meat products, ensuring quality, freshness, and adherence to food safety standards. This role involves direct interaction with customers, offering product knowledge and recommendations, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store meat deliveries, ensuring proper temperature control and quality.
- Cut, trim, grind, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Weigh, package, and label meat products accurately and attractively for display.
- Maintain a clean and organized meat counter and work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about different cuts of meat, offering recommendations, and addressing customer concerns.
- Rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, informing management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Operate and sanitize meat processing equipment, such as grinders, slicers, and saws.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and dress code.
- Assist in other duties as assigned, such as stocking shelves or cleaning the department.
Additional Duties: Management reserves the right to assign additional tasks as necessary to support store operations. Employees will be provided with proper training and protective equipment for any and all assigned tasks that require special handling.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Experience handling and preparing meat products (preferred)
