Role: Integral part of the Team that manages the day to day operations of the Wellness department within the community to ensure the maximum levels of resident functional ability, safety and wellness.
Responsibilities
Texas LPN license (Required)
3 Years Of Nurse Management Experience (Required)
BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
Perfect physical condition and stamina

Full Time Salary Exempt Position
Pay: Starting at $85,000 per year
Role: Integral part of the Team that manages the day to day operations of the Wellness department within the community to ensure the maximum levels of resident functional ability, safety and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Perform continuous, ongoing supervision of all wellness department team members, including but not limited to recruiting, retaining, training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, scheduling and evaluating; establishes and builds rapport among team members to facilitate teamwork.
- Patient/resident observation under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.; Monitor and record vital signs; Administers prescribed medications, injections, wound care, collect lab samples and other basic medical care tasks; Provides assistance as necessary with activities of daily living
- Coordinates and implements regularly scheduled wellness meetings; ensures compliance of Wellness Department relative to federal, state, local and company regulations and policies
- Maintain liaison role by ensuring effective communication with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionals
- Responsible for reporting on operation of Wellness Department to ensure continuity of care; keeping department on budget within established guidelines and submits recommendations for budget completion, equipment and supplies
