Position Description: Scheduler/Payroll Associate
Reports to: Business Education and Information Systems Team Leader
Scope of Supervision: None. Liaisons with all other Members of the Leadership Team,
Role: Works within the Business Education and Information Systems Team. The Scheduler/Payroll Associate will be responsible for scheduling wellness staff and submitting payroll. Assists in the management of the day to day operations of the wellness component of the community to ensure the maximum levels of resident functional ability, safety and well being. This is accomplished by taking into account Juniper Village’ philosophy, hallmarks, policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance to Juniper Village’ philosophy and hallmarks as well as all written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the Business Education and Information Systems Departments.
Ensures resident safety at all times. Embraces Culture Change and resident-centered philosophies
Complete all assigned paperwork to meet current regulatory compliance standards.
Participates in associate orientation to inform new associates of quality assurance activities. Develop and maintain schedule for Wellness Department including C.N.A. and Nurses.
Ensure adequate staffing pattern of Wellness Team (C.N.A. and Nurses) within authorized hour guidelines at all times.
Develop work schedules and assignments to ensure staff accountability and task completion. Monitor licensure and certification compliance for all Wellness Staff
Ensure all state and federal notices are posted
Answer incoming telephone calls using appropriate greeting.
Assist Business Office Manager in securing necessary paperwork for newly hired Associates and maintaining personnel files
Utilizes competency and new hire checklists and completes according to required time frame.
Manage worker’s compensation claims HUMAN RESOURCES POLICY AND PROCEDURES SNF POSITION DESCRIPTIONS SECTION 180 of 224
Assist in the processing of the semi-monthly payroll and in maintaining associate records including the following:
