Juniper Investment Company is hiring a Vice President of Investor Relations to lead capital-raising and relationship management for our flagship strategy and proprietary co-investments.
Juniper manages a long-only, concentrated public equity fund focused on overlooked U.S. small-cap companies. We apply deep fundamental research and active engagement—drawing on our founders’ extensive investment and corporate leadership experience—to unlock value and drive sustainable growth. We take significant ownership positions in underfollowed U.S. small-cap companies and work closely with management teams and boards to drive long-term value creation—enhancing upside while limiting downside risk.

- Lead fundraising across institutional and private investor segments, achieving ambitious capital-raising goals.
- Articulate Juniper’s high-engagement philosophy, investment strategy, and long-term performance record to a sophisticated investor base.
- Present tailored co-investment opportunities and manage the full due diligence lifecycle.
- Build and deepen long-term relationships with family offices, endowments, HNWIs, and intermediaries.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align capital-raising with the firm's investment pipeline and strategic goals.
- 5 years in fundraising, investor relations, or institutional sales—preferably in alternatives or equity-focused strategies.
- A strong network of family offices, RIAs, and institutional allocators.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of public equity strategies—particularly small-cap, deep value, or activist/constructive engagement models.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA a plus.
- Grow Juniper’s $380M in AUM, with over 25% internal capital—demonstrating deep alignment with our investors
