This position will be responsible for overseeing the garden center, supervising and Hiring Garden center employees, managing inventory, receiving deliveries of plant material, and assisting customers in our retail garden center.

Responsibilities
Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.
Manage schedules, daily tasks, and overall productivity of the staff.
Manage the sales at the Garden Center and cultivate strong, positive relationships with each client by providing professional and timely communication that addresses their needs and enhances customer retention.
Growing existing clients business as well as securing new clients.
Manage the inventory of all material.
Purchase necessary inventory for upcoming projects and maintain the garden center stock.
Schedule material deliveries according to project timelines.
Sell and design projects for customers.
Oversee turnover of sold jobs to the production team for installation.
Collaborate with Production Manager to ensure jobs are completed to customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with Marketing to increase sales by utilizing social media or other advertisements.
Maintain job costs to achieve profitability goals.
Meet or exceed established goals for the garden center and installation department.
Represent the Company at various events, organizations, and associations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to new or expanded business. Develop community ties and enhance the public image and brand of the Company. Maintain positive relations with other companies in the industry and related industries.
Is aware of billing and collection status on all projects/customers. Advises on credits or collections and works with the administrative staff and customers to resolve collection issues.
A minimum of 2 years of landscaping installation experience.
Prior sales experience preferably in landscaping or retail nursery preferred.
Prior supervisory or management experience
Must possess a valid US drivers license (or equivalent) and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verification requirements.
Computer and technology skills including working knowledge of MS Suite and mobile devices.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
