Account Management: Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and experienced network engineer to join our Global Customer Success organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP-based networks, including switching and data center technologies. They will also possess DevOps experience, with expertise in containers, cloud, virtualization, CI/CD stacks, APIs, and orchestration.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing high-quality technical support on specific Juniper Networks product(s) to customers, directly or via partners
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base that reflects the collective expertise of our team members
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure knowledge share of customer networks, issues, and solutions
• Suggesting ways to improve team performance and increase customer satisfaction
Requirements
Key requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in supporting large, complex IP-based networks
• Strong understanding of IP networking basics, including VLAN/trunking, STP, RSTP, VSTP, VXLAN/EVPN, and IP-fabric
• Experience with traffic generators and network protocols analysis tools
• Working experience with operating system architectures (Linux, FreeBSD), scripting languages (TCL, Perl, API, Ansible, Puppet, C, C )
