Manufacturing Ops Manager

Working with a diverse team around the globe, Juniper’s Supply Chain Operations organization drives value and performance in support of the company objectives. Commercial Manager will lead the Commercial Business and Cost negotiations between Juniper and its global CM and ODM manufacturing partners. Working cross functionally to negotiate contractual agreements and new business agreements, managing Product Cost processes, and driving best in class performance.

Job Requirements

7 years working with CM/ODM partners or internal manufacturing

Demonstrated background in working with partners to negotiate terms, build and maintain contractual agreements

Knowledge of Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes and cost drivers

Solid, hard-working team player, works with customer’s satisfaction in mind, possesses strong interpersonal and team communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to achieve results in a fast-paced business environment

Demonstrate use of analytics to drive better outcomes

Job Responsibilities

Commercial Partner Management: Work with multiple partners to establish processes and contractual agreements - responsibilities include:

• Negotiate new product awards and new agreements
• Perform annual contract review
• Drive performance management: scorecards and business reviews
• Lead cost negotiations
• Drive cost savings initiatives
• Act as central contact point for global escalations
• Review partner financials
• Track Value Engineering savings
• Enforce contractually agreed pricing agreements
• Validate and report monthly OCOGS claims
• Validate quarterly buydown claims
• Support AP/AR teams to keep payables current

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent
• 7 years’ experience in CM/ ODM Management or Cost Management
• Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
• Strong negotiation skills – contractual, pricing and partner management
• Independent, results-driven leader with strong positive, can-do demeanor
• Ability to influence and work successfully at all levels within a matrix organization
• Ability to lead multiple projects
• Attention to detail within contract negotiations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $109,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
