Responsibilities
- Supervising and directing irrigation techs and crew members in completing projects
- Accountable for hours spend on projects vs. budgeted hours
- Planning and scheduling equipment and materials needed on irrigation projects
- Tracking project changes and coordinating with the project manager for change order requests
- Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with work safety program
- Ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and managed
- Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform irrigation duties
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Valid US driver's license and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Report review (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in irrigation
- Experience with residential and commercial landscape plans
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of blueprints
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Irrigation certification or ability to obtain certification
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
- Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
