Job Overview:
Join our team as a Food Runner /Server Assistant role . You will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Food Runner/SA you will be an integral part of our restaurant team, responsible for delivering impeccable service and supporting the overall dining operation. This is a interchangeable role. You will be required to interact with guest as well as know our menu. We are looking for full-time associates who have open availability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to guests' tables
- Assist in food preparation tasks, such as garnishing dishes and ensuring proper presentation
- Coordinate with servers to prioritize orders and ensure seamless service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Support kitchen staff with tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is required. Prior experience as a food runner or expediter is preferred
- Familiarity with bussing, POS systems, and basic culinary terminology is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and guests
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday
