Summary/Objective: Performs in process and final inspections; Supports the manufacturing line with raw components by kitting for final/ sub assembly builds, administers equipment calibration, maintenance program; Supports other Quality Assurance activities as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages activities in areas of responsibility in accordance with manufacturing system procedures.
- Administers equipment calibration and maintenance system.
- Inspects products in accordance with written procedures, statistical sampling plans, engineering drawings and specifications as assigned. Documents nonconforming products as appropriate.
- Closes out manufacturing LHR’s, ensure they are complete and ready for doc control review.
- Maintains and operates inspection and test equipment.
- Provides input regarding inspection methods and quality procedures.
- Ensures traceability of components and products.
- Facilitates the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Contributes to improvements for quality system procedures related to areas of responsibility.
- Advises and trains other Company personnel concerning areas of responsibility.
- Ensures appropriate communication processes are established within and across functional groups.
- Communicates information related to manufacturing process improvements.
- Assists with corrective and preventive action planning and implementation.
- Works in accordance with quality system procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent certification.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in Production / Quality Assurance/Control in a manufacturing environment; medical device industry preferred.
- Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Demonstrated full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication and documentation.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawing, specifications, and statistical sampling plans.
- Experience using dimensional/visual inspection equipment including microscopes.
- Good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, color vision, and visual acuity (corrected if necessary).
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple and occasional competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other people.
- Ability to work in a highly detailed environment where mental focus and accuracy of work output is essential.
- Good organizational and oral and written communication skills, including ability to represent the Company to both internal and external audiences.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to be independently mobile.
- Periods of prolonged sitting or standing at a microscope or computer screen.
Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners. Personal Protective Equipment may be required for assigned work. Work may involve lifting moderately heavy items.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour depending on experience. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits and 401(K) with matching.
