Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all warehouse operations: receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Required to validate all inbound loads and ensure they meet acceptance requirements. This includes validating Bill of Ladings with piece counts.
- Note all damages on the Bill of Lading and report them to procurement and Supervisor.
- Communication with the warehouse and field team for timely delivery of materials to job sites.
- Receive Freight and Parcel in and out in a timely manner. (24 hours)
- Must be familiar with and/or learn to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack/forklifts or other heavy equipment)
- Other duties assigned as business necessitates.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum one-year experience working within warehousing distribution industry.
- Forklift Experience is a Plus.
- Ability to walk long distances daily
- Experience with Excel/Word
- Accurately input information into our Warehouse Management System and maintain electronic and paper files.
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Must pass 7 year criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
- Able to communicate with Project Managers on incoming material as well as notify procurement on missing/damaged product.
- Read and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Able to Wrap pallets and appropriately stack material on them
- Able to keep job material together on shelves and pallet locations.
- Able to be a team player
- High School or equivalent education.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $22.00 / hour
