Education :
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN preferred.

Position Summary :
Within nursing services, the Registered Nurse assumes the accountability and responsibility as a professional nurse for providing "Patient Centered Care" for an assigned group of patients.
The Jupiter Medical Center RN Resident Program is an investment in the Team Member. In consideration of JMC's agreement to provide Team Member with training and mentoring through the Program, the Team Member agrees to work in the unit and department to which he / she is assigned for 1 year from completion of the RN Resident Program and remain employed with JMC for at least two (2) years after the Team Member completes the JMC RN Resident Program.

Physical Requirement
This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push / pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
