Jupiter seeks to hire a highly motivated and experienced professional as its Data Engineer with a software development focus. This role will be based out of our Houston, Texas office and is subject to our Companys return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Advanced Data Pipelines : Design and implement sophisticated data engineering pipelines to support machine learning (ML) and AI models, optimizing energy storage operations and market strategies using platforms like Azure and Databricks.
- Responsible for routine DataOP and MLOP operation
- Domain Expertise : Apply strong mathematical and statistical knowledge to understand data quality, ml model structures, hyperparameters, and data insights.
- Real-Time Trading Tools : Maintain and enhance real-time trading tools, empowering trading desks with the data they need for informed decision-making.
- Simplify Complexity : Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, aiding strategic initiatives.
- Stay Innovative : Conduct research on emerging trends in data engineering, data science, AI, and energy storage to drive innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with teams across engineering, finance, and operations to deliver impactful data engineering solutions.
