Jupiter seeks to grow its team with the recruitment of a Senior Analyst, NERC / ERCOT Compliance (Operations & Planning). This role will be based out of our Austin, TX, Houston, TX, or Chicago, IL offices and is subject to our return-to-office policy, which currently requires employees to work out of the office a minimum of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a growing operating fleet with emphasis on electricity regulatory requirements.
- Assist with development and maintenance of processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance obligations are sufficiently maintained and monitored.
- Maintain evidence and documentation for applicable project compliance requirements through data collection, analysis, and document organization.
- Support internal groups (O&M, Engineering, Asset Management, and Market Operations) in understanding compliance obligations and associated deliverables by developing and implementing tools and training.
- Support internal groups to ensure timely provision of compliance deliverables (e.g., RFIs, reports, filings, and records).
- Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements.
- Actively participate in real time operational compliance monitoring activities.
- Support research, planning, and preparation of new project compliance readiness efforts.
- Conduct ad hoc independent research on industry trends and rules.
