Analyst

Jurassic Capital is a growth equity investment firm focused on B2B software companies throughout the Southeast. We are currently investing out of our $30m fund and are based in Durham, North Carolina.

We are seeking a full-time Analyst to accelerate our efforts.

Here’s what you would do:

• Review company presentations. Perform due diligence on prospective companies. Research industries and competitors. Build and review financial models.
• Support portfolio companies in business development, strategy, financing, recruitment, exit events, and other initiatives.
• Support internal operational activities, including marketing, investor relations, and fund administration.
• Contribute to the investment committee’s decision-making process.

The ideal candidate has:

• Exceptional analytical abilities demonstrated through work and academic accomplishments.
• Natural ability for organization and highly attentive to details.
• Spreadsheet/Excel experience is a must. SQL and Python experience is a plus.
• Less than three years of experience in a relevant field. Some experience working in small to midsized software companies is a plus.
• Background and experience that enhance diverse perspectives at Jurassic.
• Undergraduate degree – business-related is a plus. A graduate degree is not required.
