RISolutions is partnering with our law firm client in Wilmington, DE to identify a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant. This a permanent full-time position (work from home one day per week). Ideal candidate can handle multi-tasking in a fast?paced and demanding legal environment. Must possess minimum of three years’ experience as an administrative professional. Exceptional communication and organizational skills an absolute must. Law firm or corporate experience highly preferred. - Primary Responsibilities Include:Supporting multiple attorneys and staff and serving as backup for other assistants when necessary
- Arranging catering for trials, depositions and related events
- Maintaining the firm litigation calendar and related deadlines
- Proofreading documents
- Formatting letters, briefs, and pleadings; creating new templates as needed
- Runing conflict checks
- Entering time and adding new matters into the firm’s billing system
- Circulating court filings, ensuring that all after-hours filings are distributed
- Preparing hearing/deposition binders and any Court filings
- Providing training to incoming associates
- Preparing, revising and finalizing invoices (including e-bill clients)
- Responding to accrual requests and resolving billing inquiries
- Completing Supreme Court registrations and renewals; remind attorneys of CLE deadlines and requirements
- Coordinating with attorneys to make travel reservations and complete travel reimbursements
