Programming Director and Facility Manager

• Oversee daily operations, schedules, and programming at the Justagame Reedsburg Fieldhouse.
• Manage local monthly subscriptions and memberships.
• Develop and implement a full schedule of local programming at both facilities.
• Market and distribute programming information locally in as many channels as possible.
• Primary objective will be to “Fill the space.” focusing on weekdays and non-peak hours.
• Programming ideas are endless and include:
  • Daily play
  • Sports programs/camps
  • Youth and adult leagues
  • Infant Mom programs
  • Senior programs
  • Family activities
  • Programs to capture tourist and convention business
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with the city, school district, athletic programs, business community.
• Organize and conduct parent orientation meetings, and training meetings for coaches when needed.
• Work with local Park & Rec/community groups to compliment their programming and provide rental space when needed.
• Maintain relationships with other schools and athletic departments/teams in the area.
  • Our goal is to raise the level of participation and recreation in all area schools and athletics.
• Light bookkeeping work and cash management.
• Work very closely with to help and support the Food, Beverage, and Retail director with the Reedsburg concessions/retail.
• Hire and manage staff
  • Part-time evening supervisors
  • Additional coaches and programming operators
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling PT concessions staff
• Assist in managing retail and concessions operations.
• Assist in keeping the facility clean and well maintained inside and out.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the building and all Justagame Fieldhouse business operations.
• Aid current staff in helping develop new tournaments and events as well as attracting 3rd party event operators to rent the facility.
• Work events at JAG Fieldhouse in the Dells during slow times in Reedsburg.
• Work closely with JAG Select Basketball, JAG Volleyball Club and Tournament Directors and aid in providing programming to these groups.

• Passion for sports, fitness, recreation.
• Leadership, management and training ability.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in an applicable/related field.
• Experience at a YMCA, Park and Rec, sports facility or comparable.
• Excellent communication and people skills including conflict resolution.
• Enjoys customer service.
• Positive energy and upbeat.
• Extremely organized and neat.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working alone at times.
• Physically capable of working on your feet for hours at a time and moderate lifting.
• Comfortable with non-standard hours and weekends.
• Strong independent problem-solving abilities.
