About Just a Touch:
Just a Touch Barbershop, located at 340 US 9 N, Manalapan, NJ, is seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in barbering techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clients while delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services. While a clientele is preferred, it is not required, as we enjoy steady walk-in traffic and daily phone appointments. Both Full-time and Part-time openings are commission structure.

Responsibilities of a Barber:

• Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims tailored to client preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and recommend appropriate styles or treatments.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, shave services, and men’s grooming.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail transactions.
• Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries.

Requirements of a Barber:

• Valid barbering license or cosmetology certification is required.
• Proven experience in barbering with a portfolio showcasing your work is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to sanitize tools properly and maintain a clean working environment.
• Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management is a plus.
• A passion for the barber and beauty industry and a dedication to continuous learning and improvement.
