WHO WE ARE
JBI is a commercial Kitchen installation company founded in 2020 in the great state of
Florida. We thrive on teamwork and a certain work quality that is unmatched by others.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Show up to work on time and fully prepared to work from 7:00am until 4:30pm Monday-Friday and possibly on weekends. (Often times earlier team meetups are required to arrive to the job site at 7am)

- Keep a safe and organized job site while completing your tasks within a timely manner.
- Listen to the instructions of the team lead while working alongside them to get the job done.
- Keep all tools organized and accounted for including but not limited to ( tape measure, knife, gloves, hardhat, eye protection, and all company provided or personal power tools and materials)

- Work in coordination with other MEP (Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) contractors to complete the job in a timely manner.

- Team lead is to take detailed pictures of the jobsite and all of our equipment at the end of the work day and send an email update to the owners/ managers of JBI.

- Must be willing to travel throughout the state and possibly out of state in a company provided truck with your team. You will be compensated for all travel time incurred.

- Must have the drive to complete the job in a timely manner and the competence to complete the job right the first time.

90 DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD

- During your first 90 days with JBI you will be in your probationary period, during this time we will evaluate your timeliness, work ethic, teamwork, learning ability, client relations, and leadership skills.

- After your 90 days is up you will be evaluated and will be eligible for a raise if you are showing improvement.

- From there on out you will be evaluated every 6 months by your superiors.

Pay scale

- For applicants with little to no experience we will start at $15 per hour (see above for when you will be eligible for your first raise)

- For applicants who have more experience in installation, HVAC, construction, welding, any other specialty trades you will be eligible to start at a higher wage ranging from ($17 per hour - $25 per hour)

- Team leads/ project managers can make upwards of $27 per hour or can be awarded a salaried position

Job equipment requirements

- Tape measure, folding knife, steel toe work boots,

- We will provide gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and a high-vis vest

- We prefer if you come with your own power tools. This doesnt have to happen from the start but please be aware teams use the team leaders tools. All disposables will be provided to you from JBI.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Commercial construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Tavares, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
