CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: We are seeking a highly motivated leader with engaging interpersonal skills to deliver client-centric and sales-driven results to take on the role of Director of Training at our BRAND NEW STUDIO at Alloy Personal Training in Lutherville, MD.
PREMIUM COMPENSATION: $55,000- $65,000.00 base salary with revenue overrides creating potential earnings up to $115,000.00 per year, plus you will be eligible for annual raises and profit sharing.

YOU WILL THRIVE AT ALLOY: The Director role will be a crucial part of the studio, driving presales, ongoing membership sales, hiring, team training and development, and business-to-business cross-promotions.
As the Director of Training, you'll spend roughly 5-10 hours a week conducting small group personal training sessions (4-6 people). The rest of your hours will be focused on growing the membership by following up on leads, community networking and engagement, retention, client satisfaction and support, and staff training.
Unlike other companies, you'll have direct incentives that compensate you based on studio performance. Overall, the hours will be somewhat flexible based on business needs and the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Critical sales role during pre-sales and opening phase of the new studio with a goal being 100 members prior to opening and then ongoing sales and retention to get total members to 150
- Actively cultivate a “Stronger Together” Alloy community
- Create Remarkable Member Journeys: We strive to exceed expectations at every touchpoint, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment
- Deliver premium client engagement: In-Body assessments, goal setting, relationship-based client model to build an Alloy community of support and accountability
- Oversee that the studio is scheduling staff according to operational requirements and in compliance with payroll budgets
- Ensure studio is training, coaching and supervising the staff in accomplishing daily tasks and maximizing new memberships and retention, including conducting weekly meetings with staff
- Monitor and mentor staff performance to secure delivery of membership services in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prioritize goals and objectives in order to develop member and employee satisfaction and retention, and grow memberships
- Communicate regularly with team and franchise owner
- Demonstrates grit and perseverance: Shows a strong determination to overcome challenges and consistently pursues long-term goals with resilience and tenacity.
- Critically assess situations to solve challenges that impact studio sales performance and member satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of management and fitness sales experience preferred
- Experience in a stand-alone, high-end fitness club highly preferred
- Experience in pre-sales or other applicable fitness sales
- Leadership and development of a fitness training team of 2 or more individuals
- Desire to help others achieve their health and wellness goals
- Proficient consultation skills
- Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting
- Ability to hire, direct, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staff
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Financial, business and human resource management acumen
- Computer literacy
- Morning, evening and weekend hours are required
