This position is ON-SITE only and will not be considered for hybrid or remote.

Role Overview

As our Web Developer, you'll be creating innovative, interactive and user-friendly WordPress websites that balance user experience, brand identity, and marketing goals. You’ll work closely with a small team of designers, strategists, and content creators to turn creative concepts into high-performing websites. Additionally, you will be assisting with the maintenance and ongoing support needs of our client's existing sites and ensuring they are up and running without business interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain WordPress websites, landing pages, and web applications

· Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability and security

· Translating designs and wireframes into responsive, interactive web pages

· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to bring campaigns to life

· Customize and extend functionality of WordPress through plugins and themes and integration with third-party tools and platforms

· Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

· Manage staging environments and deploy sites and updates efficiently

· Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support to clients, with the intent to resolve issues promptly as they arise

· Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

· On location work at our office in Manchester, NH. This is NOT a remote position.

· 5 years of web development experience (agency experience a plus) on corporate and/or high-volume websites

· Professional-level fluency in WordPress, including custom development, responsive and adaptive techniques, and troubleshooting

· Experience with core WordPress plugins, including Elementor, WPBakery, Gravity Forms, UpdraftPlus

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and the WordPress framework

· Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization

· Strong understanding of web development best practices, including Google Analytics 4

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Haves

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

· Interest in branding and digital storytelling

· Experience with e-commerce and online store development

· Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization

· Experience with other website platforms (Wix, Webflow, Shopify, etc.)

· Basic knowledge of design tools like Figma or Adobe XD

· Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP, Lottie, etc.)
