Job Title: Receptionist
Mission:
Just for Cats is a family owned feline exclusive veterinary hospital, located in Delaware County.
Our mission is to assist cats and their families. We provide medical services for family pets through client education, examination, lab work, dental care and minor surgical procedures. We provide for all basic needs as well as access to an exceptional referral network when advanced equipment or specialists are required.
Role:
As a member of the Just for Cats team you will help in providing comprehensive care to our client base through the execution of your duties. You will primarily work at our front desk interacting with clients but will also move through the office to locate patient charts and to coordinate/communicate with the veterinary care team. You will also be expected to help our clients bring their animals into and out of the building.
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY- Fridays 8:30a- 12:30p and Saturdays 8:30a- Close (typically 2-3p)
Responsibilities:
As a Receptionist you will be responsible for:
- Greeting and assisting clients, both in person and over the phone, and via text or email with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Schedule appointments, manage inquiries, and provide information about our services.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the veterinary team. Relay important information, schedule consultations, and provide updates on patient care as needed.
- Handle client facing invoicing and payment processing.
- Work closely with veterinary staff to coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and communicate with clients regarding their cat's care. Ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both clients and their feline companions.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
- Provide constructive feedback into process development and implementation for day to day activities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a high level of organization in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of veterinary professionals.
- End of the day procedures and cleaning of the front desk and surrounding areas (waiting room, bathroom, store)
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Proficient in Microsoft office and Google Products (Docs, Sheets, Photos)
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Animal care service work experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
