Responsibilities
- Educate and engage children in various activities to promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum to support children's growth
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
- Monitor and supervise children during playtime and activities
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or daycare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with preschool or early childhood education programs
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus
- Special education background or training is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
