Hours: 6am - 2:30pm
Job Summary: responsible for handling the daily movement of materials and products. Your primary tasks will include receiving incoming shipments, inspecting goods for accuracy and quality, and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Must count, weigh and check inbound and outbound materials.
Responsible for reporting any shortages or damages to materials
Follow the FIFO inventory system
Assembles orders for production or shipments
Counts, weighs, and checks against work orders
Responsible for inbound and/or outbound freight.
Perform functions and maintain accuracy in consignment, finished goods, raw material and corrugated warehouse.
Responsible for delivery and tagging of materials to work stations and to stock. Must maintain accurate weights or piece counts and identification on all materials and products.
Responsible for data entry into computer terminal in order to track and control inventory.
Responsible for auditing and correcting warehouse stock.
Responsible for keeping aisles and work areas clean and orderly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· 3 year of S&R forklift experience within a manufacturing facility
· Sit down and Stand up experience required
· Must possess the ability to read and comprehend in English- read and understand order part description and bill of material
· Must possess the ability to add and subtract
· Forklift certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
