The Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for analyzing, designing and documenting the production machinery processes in the facility. They will collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Quality and other teams to facilitate the installation, troubleshooting, repair and proactive maintenance of production, packaging and facility equipment according to safety policies & procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment with the goal of eliminating bottlenecks, optimizing output, and improving machinery uptime efficiency rates – all while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality in the processes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop Preventative Maintenance programs on all Production & Packaging equipment
- Analyze Breakdown Maintenance on all equipment to determine critical spare parts, Predictive Maintenance schedules, etc.
- Maintain PM maintenance logs.
- Keep tools, parts and spare equipment organized and in working order
- Order and maintain inventory of Spare Parts, Tools & Supplies
- Be able to conduct yourself in an environment where food is made and not introduce foreign material contaminants and hazards to the product line.
- Research to develop new & improved processes for manufacturing
- Assist in troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement process documentation and training programs.
- Analyze and optimize process performance using data analysis and statistical process control.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to improve process efficiency and product quality.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including process design, simulation, and optimization.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and logic controllers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
