Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various machinery and tools in a manufacturing setting.
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications of the parts to be fabricated
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Experience
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment such as lathe, milling machine, caliper, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to operate machinery like electrical discharge machining (EDM) and crane is a plus
- Knowledge of welding techniques and tooling setups is advantageous
- Forklift operation experience is beneficial
