Are you eager to start a rewarding career in HVAC with year-round work close to home? We are currently seeking an HVAC Installation Apprentice to join our growing team! This role is based out of Sandwich, IL, with jobs located within a 15-mile radius.
How You’ll Help Us Grow
Just In Time’s Mission is to provide our clients with an exceptional experience. As an HVAC Installation Apprentice, you'll support this mission by assisting our experienced technicians and learning valuable skills. This is a full-time position, and overtime may be required during busy seasons, such as winter and the peak of summer.
You will work alongside a lead installer, receiving direction and training on each job. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and develop HVAC skills to install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in residential settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with inspecting completed work, preparing and organizing paperwork, communicating with customers and the office, and getting ready for the next day’s installations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work professionally on job sites or in people’s homes
- Be eager to learn and grow in the HVAC field
- Able to pass a pre-hire drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in confined spaces
You Will Excite Us If You Have
- Basic understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles
- An interest in pursuing an EPA certification
- Some experience or coursework related to HVAC
