You will ensure efficient day-to-day operations, optimize order shipping, and manage high-level negotiations internally and externally. This role requires strong leadership, e-commerce experience with wholesale and retail operations, and a passion for health and wellness.Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies, SOPs, and logistics that drive scalability and efficiency in the e-commerce, retail, and wholesale operations.
- Lead all operational functions, including fulfillment, production, and operational management, to support growth and achieve business objectives.
- Transition operations from start-up phase to hyper-growth.
- Lead initiatives to meet new product launches and sales expectations
- Expand operations while maintaining quality and ensuring seamless execution
- E-Commerce, Wholesale & Retail Operations
- Oversee the company's wholesale and retail channels, ensuring products are contracted, developed, transported, stocked, and delivered on time.
- Aligning products and execution to brand standards.
- Oversee and manage relationships with key operational partners and warehouse operational leaders to execute the vision and mission of the leadership team.
- Drive products and ensure the company is well-positioned to scale with these accounts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Data Driven Decisions
- Foster strong relationships across departments (e.g., E-commerce Warehouse, Wholesale, Supply Chain, Quality, Retail, Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Finance) to ensure alignment and execution of growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to execute on operational priorities.
- Use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making.
- Track and analyze key operational metrics to continually improve processes and efficiency.
- Work closely with the President to drive the mission and vision of Just Ingredients.
- Team Development:
- Lead a high-performing operations team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
- Cultivate a collaborative, performance-driven culture to meet expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for pivotal execution in meeting company goals and expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a Director of Operations or senior operational leadership role, specifically within the eCommerce, health, wellness supplement, or nutrition industry.
- Strong background in wholesale and retail operations, with deep expertise in managing large retail partnerships and contracts.
- Successful track record of managing rapid growth and scaling operations in a high-velocity environment.
- Expertise with operational processes and logistics, including best practices in fulfillment and distribution.
- Expertise in project management and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and foster a team-oriented work culture.
