CCTV operator

A CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security of premises by operating closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The role involves observing real-time footage, recording incidents, and reporting suspicious activities to relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its personnel.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV Cameras:
• Continuously monitor multiple surveillance feeds to detect unusual behavior, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
• Recording & Reporting:
• Accurately record incidents, disturbances, or any security issues observed. Maintain video logs and prepare incident reports when necessary.
• Surveillance Control:
• Operate CCTV cameras, adjust angles, and zoom in or out to enhance footage for clarity. Ensure all cameras are functioning correctly, and report any faults or malfunctions to the technical support team.
• Alert Security Personnel:
• Inform on-duty security officers or law enforcement immediately in case of any emergency, criminal activity, or breach detected.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security systems or surveillance technology is a plus.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in surveillance operations, security, or a related field preferred.
