CCTV/Security operator

We are looking for a reliable and vigilant CCTV/Security Operator to oversee the surveillance systems and ensure the safety and security of the premises. The successful candidate will monitor CCTV feeds, respond to incidents, and assist with maintaining a secure environment. As a CCTV/Security Operator, you will be responsible for identifying potential security risks and ensuring prompt action to prevent loss or harm.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Respond to alarms or incidents by dispatching security personnel or alerting emergency services.
• Record all relevant information regarding security incidents and maintain detailed reports.
• Operate and maintain CCTV equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues to the relevant department.
• Conduct routine checks of security systems and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Communicate with other security personnel and team members via radio or phone to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide support during emergency situations, including evacuations or securing areas.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
• Follow established procedures and protocols for handling security breaches, incidents, or emergencies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary.

• Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in security operations, surveillance, or a similar field is preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, security protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Good problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills to operate monitoring software and maintain logs.
