The Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials around the warehouse, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. \n- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport goods and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Stack and organize materials according to company specifications.
- Assist in inventory control by ensuring that materials are stored properly and counted accurately.
- Ensure the safe handling of fragile or hazardous materials.
- Inspect forklifts regularly to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
