Just Kids Pediatrics is looking for a dynamic, flexible, and experienced individuals to assist us in providing the best pediatric care in our community. Customer Service is our number one priority! We are currently hiring a full-time call center agent for our operations center who will provide compassion to patients and develop the communities we live and operate in. Spanish speaking is a PLUS, being a good human is a MUST!
Minimum (1) years of medical office or clinic experience preferred. **This is a PART-TIME POSITION.**
Medical Scheduler Shifts:
Mon-Fri 7:30-3:30pm flexibility based on clinical needs.
**Hours subject to change based on clinical need***

Medical Scheduler Hourly rate:
- $15.00-$17.00 based on experience
Medical Scheduler Job Summary:
Responsibilities include Answering incoming phone calls and routing to appropriate locations. Scheduling appointments. Registering patients into the computer system. Running patient insurance benefits and eligibility. Confirming appointments. Creating a positive experience through our core values with internal and external customers.
Medical Scheduler Primary Job Duties:
- Answer a minimum of 60-80 calls per day, dependent on overall phone volumes.
- Intake all information necessary to schedule accurate appointments to include patient demographics, insurance information and reason for visit
- Verify insurance.
- Schedule appointments.
- Accurately document all calls in patients chart
- Work other platforms of patient communications for scheduling to include online scheduling verification, voicemails returns and texting/fax functions.
- Route calls to other departments when need is determined.
- Provide unmatched customer service for our patients.
- Be on time for shift.
Medical Scheduler Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in medical office registering and scheduling patients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communications skills.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology a plus.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Basic computer skills. Types 25 words per minute with 96% accuracy.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work other locations and schedules when needed.
- Must pass a criminal background check
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- Spanish (Preferred)
Experience:
