Cafe Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our cafe ensuring exceptional customer service while effectively managing staff and resources. Duties

• Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage cash handling processes, including register operations and financial reporting.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting audits, and coordinating restocking efforts.
• Participate in recruiting efforts by identifying potential candidates and assisting with the hiring process.
• Supervise team members, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance productivity.
• Foster a positive customer service environment by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies that promote store initiatives and drive sales.
• Communicate effectively with staff to ensure alignment on goals and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
• Experience in inventory management practices is a plus.
• Ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
• Multilingual abilities are an asset for communicating with diverse customer bases.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
