Shipping and Receiving Clerk
We are hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work Monday thru Friday, from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
The responsibilities include--
- Serve as the point of contact for scheduling all incoming and outgoing shipments, and updating the department calendar to reflect the time frame for each truck.
- Entering Receivers (documentation for incoming deliveries) and BOL's (documentation for outgoing shipments) using our warehouse management system.
- Communicating with internal/external parties on specific items that are expected, and giving timely information back to those parties with detail (proof of delivery, pictures of damages, log sheets for incoming trucks, ect.)
- Able to take instruction for special projects and carry them out with minimal supervision
- Routing of Trucking for specific customer requests
Qualities of expected hire--
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse environment, though preferably as a Shipping/Receiving clerk
- Organized, highly communicative in both written and verbal form, detailed, assertive yet professional
- Education: High School Graduate or above
- Proficient and expedient in MS Office programs, fast typer
- Bilingual (spanish) a plus, but not necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
