Job Summary:
The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of travel within Just Play’s travel and expense management system, Concur. This role includes booking travel as needed for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, and optimizing travel costs. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate travel coordination and expense management systems, with a strong ability to implement best practices and provide support to employees.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of travel within Just Play’s travel and expense management system, Concur.
- Book travel on behalf of employees and review self-booked travel to ensure adherence to the best price vs. policy strategy.
- Coordinate block bookings for major company events.
- Maintain and update all travel settings, rules, and policies within Concur as dictated by company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all business travel bookings and follow up on missing or past-due reports.
- Work alongside the accounting department to track major business events through project code assignments.
- Provide end-user support, feedback, and training documentation to reinforce best travel practices.
- Negotiate hotel rates and manage travel vendor relationships, including car services, rental cars, and hotels across various markets.
- Track and manage unused airline tickets to optimize travel expenses.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience booking corporate travel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage travel-related partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills for working with employees and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple travel arrangements efficiently.
- Knowledge of travel policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Working knowledge of Concur a plus.
