Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator/Driver

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operator/Driver/Forklift Operator. This versatile role requires someone who is capable of performing a range of tasks within the warehouse, including operating a forklift, driving delivery vehicles, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation:
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
• Transport materials to designated storage areas, ensuring they are stored properly and securely.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by moving goods based on inventory control procedures.
• Driving & Deliveries:
• Drive warehouse delivery vehicles for transport of goods to designated locations, including local and regional deliveries.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
• Warehouse Organization & Stock Management:
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management using warehouse management software or manual processes.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and organizing inbound shipments and materials.
• General Warehouse Duties:
• Support warehouse staff with loading and unloading shipments, sorting materials, and preparing orders for delivery.
• Ensure that all warehouse equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to management.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received, stored, and shipped.
• Health & Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following safe lifting techniques.
• Maintain a high standard of workplace cleanliness and organization.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to address and resolve any issues that arise.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Forklift Certification (preferred).
• Proven experience operating forklifts and driving delivery vehicles.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
