We're looking for experienced mitigators but we will train the right person. The radon abatement system installer will spend the first 3-6 months learning about, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining radon mitigation systems.
Passing the NRPP or NRSB certification for radon measurement and mitigation is mandatory within 6 months. This will result in significant pay increases and additional lead installer opportunities.
If you become a certified radon mitigation installer, you’ll be respected and admired. There are only nine certified mitigators in the state of Oregon, and we’ll train you to be the next.

Job Description
The position of radon mitigation installer comprises performing tasks involving physical labor at homes, buildings, and new construction sites.
- It comprises operating hand and power tools of all types and sizes.
- Protecting, cleaning, and preparing for installations.
- Working on ladders as tall as 40’.
- Drilling holes through foundation walls, concrete slabs, and banjoists.
- Installing ABS & PVC piping and fittings.
- Installing vents through roof flashings.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Twist, bend, stoop, crawl, and work in tight crawlspaces and confined areas.
- Stand on your feet for 8-10 hours a day.
- Caulking cracks, patching, and sealing gaps.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Cleaning up and disposing of job site debris.
- Recognizing asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste materials or potential plumbing and electrical under the slab or in walls.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Fill out the system label and walk the customer (if available on-site) through the system installation.
- Complete a field report after each installation.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Construction experience is a plus.
Ability to think mechanically.
Ability to work independently and be an important part of a team.
Hold a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Be able to communicate clearly with customers and team members in
English.

Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $5,000 - $6,500 /month depending on your experience. We’ll recognize your growth and commitment and increase compensation quickly.
Schedule: Monday – Friday. We’re a “customer first” organization. This position requires you to be flexible in the hours and days worked. Some days you're off early, others you'll work late. On very rare occasions, a weekend or holiday may be required to work.
