Job Title: Construction Loan Processor
Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Construction loan and draw Processor to join our dynamic team. As a Processor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth processing of construction draw requests, verifying documentation accuracy, and upholding compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Your contributions will be essential in facilitating efficient operations within our construction company.
Duties:
- Generate construction draw requests and associated documentation, review for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
- Verify contractor information, project progress, budget allocations, and other pertinent details.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and address any discrepancies or concerns, including Davis Bacon Compliance.
- Prepare and organize construction draw files for review and approval by appropriate parties, ensuring all required documentation is included.
- Follow up with stakeholders to obtain missing or additional documentation as necessary to complete the draw process.
- Maintain meticulous records of all construction draw transactions and documentation in the designated system.
- Adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines governing construction finance, including industry standards and company policies.
- Utilize Excel extensively to create and manage spreadsheets, track project expenses, and analyze financial data.
- Assist in coordinating the construction draw disbursement process, liaising with financial institutions, project teams, and legal entities as needed.
- Provide timely and professional assistance to stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing status updates throughout the draw process.
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document review and data entry.
- Proficiency in utilizing 10-key typing for efficient data input.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets, perform calculations, and analyze data effectively.
- Knowledge of construction finance procedures, draw processing protocols, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with construction terminology, project management principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Outstanding organizational abilities with a demonstrated capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to collective goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction draw processing, construction finance, or related fields preferred.
