Summary

Responsible for driving dispensary success by optimizing operations, enhancing financial performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Overseeing all aspects of dispensary management—including sales growth, financial stewardship, regulatory adherence, and talent development—you will drive operational excellence, empower your team to exceed performance goals, create an engaging and inclusive workplace, and uphold the highest standards of service, compliance, and integrity in the cannabis industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

· Attract, hire, and retain top talent, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.

· Train, mentor, and develop team members, leveraging their strengths and providing growth opportunities.

· Oversee payroll, scheduling, and labor efficiency to optimize productivity and profitability.

· Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more dispensary locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

· Develop strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored cannabis solutions.

· Drive sales objectives through product education, upselling, and ensuring customers have access to the best cannabis products for their needs.

· Guide new customers through the purchasing process, ensuring a seamless and compliant transaction experience.

· Handle cash management, process transactions, balance receipts, pursue collections, post payments, and complete daily bank deposits.

· the dispensary meets the highest cleanliness and organization standards through general facility upkeep and compliance with state regulations.

· Work independently while also collaborating with team members and other dispensary locations to ensure operational success.

· Run errands for the dispensary as needed and travel to other store locations to provide support.

· Manage local financial performance, including revenue growth, expense control, and operational efficiency.

· Identify underperforming areas and implement strategies to drive improvement using company programs and tools.

· Monitor business trends and share insights with leadership to refine strategies and enhance results.

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including inventory management, safety protocols, and loss prevention procedures.

· Maintain proper stock levels, analyze trends, and ensure inventory is ordered and managed efficiently.

· Foster a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

· Ensure operational excellence by upholding company standards, policies, and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in retail or dispensary management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to drive sales, optimize store operations, and exceed performance goals.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in talent development, mentorship, and succession planning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback, adapt to change, and foster a culture of growth.
• Experience in financial management, compliance, and inventory control.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining full compliance with cannabis regulations.
• Ability to pass a background check under cannabis regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
