Are you the Assistant Clinical Director we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by co- leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!
The Merrimack Center is an intensive residential treatment setting for youth with intellectual disabilities and major mental illness that specializes in trauma informed care. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and accredited by the Joint Commission. Merrimack provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical, nursing, and direct care staff.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
JRI Provides The Training So That:
- YOU will assist the Clinical Director in providing oversight and leadership to the clinical services at Merrimack to ensure that clients are receiving state of the art, trauma informed care.
- YOU will be able to provide leadership toward the mission and vision of the program and provide direct supervision to Merrimack’s Family Support Specialist.
- YOU will be able to work in tandem with the Clinical Director and Administrative team to provide a shared vision of the programmatic clinical services and to maintain positive relationships with outside agencies, families, and other involved parties.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Minimum of Master’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- LICSW or LMHC required. Must be licensed in Massachusetts.
- At least two years’ experience in a residential treatment program for population served, with at least a year at the management level.
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.
- Available for on-call coverage as part of the Administrative Team.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients!
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
