What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director position at Justice Resource Institute?
Who we are looking for:
Are you the Clinical Director we have been looking for? In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with people in the community! JRI’s Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to individuals and families of all ages as well as specialized services to young children and their families with trauma histories. We provide care to a diverse and supportive community serving a wide variety of genders, cultural backgrounds, languages, and ethnic backgrounds.
JRI provides the training so that:
- YOU will provide clinical supervision to Master’s level clinicians and paraprofessional/Therapeutic Mentors as assigned.
- YOU will utilize evidence based models such as ARC, CBT, DBT, and/or others; as well as adhere to Wraparound approach to provide both services to clients and supervision to staff.
- YOU will provide advanced license hours towards LMHC or LICSW if needed with supervisees.
- YOU will perform a variety of support functions including providing assessments, crisis assessment and intervention, identifying and facilitating treatment needs, facilitating trainings as needed, and the implementation of treatment outcome measures and procedures.
- YOU will perform a variety of leadership functions including directing teams of multi-disciplinary professionals and advocating for the most appropriate service delivery to individuals.

Requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree and a license (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, etc.) as experience working with the target population.
- Candidates must have managerial experience, as well as direct care experience in the provision of mental health, community based, and/ or clinic based services for SED (Serious Emotional Disturbance) children and families.
- Candidates must have experience in navigating any of the child/family-serving systems; and experience in advocating for family members who are involved with behavioral health systems.
- Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in certain regions of Southeast of Massachusetts.
- Candidates must be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
