Be the change! We are seeking dedicated team members to join a creative, flexible, and intensive community-based team striving to eliminate emergency room boarding for kids and instead to do what it takes to keep them safe at home with their families. This position will specifically entail working with the Department of Mental Health, in our Emergency Department Diversion program. You will work on a team with a BCBA, Clinician, and support staff to meet the unique needs of individuals and/or families through assessment, safety planning, coaching, psychoeducation, skill building, and connections to informal and formal supports. You will travel to families’ homes and other community locations to best serve the clients you’re working with.
This is a part-time position.

- YOU will work alongside Clinicians, BCBA’s and Therapeutic Support Specialists to support the delivery of strength-based peer-to-peer education, coaching, role modeling, guidance, and support services.
- YOU will utilize your caregiving experiences to enhance the lives of youth who are presenting with difficult and challenging behaviors, and their families.
- YOU will support families in navigating multiple systems of care and enable parents and caregivers to learn effective advocacy skills.

- Applicants must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in a human services field and 1 year of experience working with the target population; or a high school diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working with the target population.
- Applicants should have lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with emotional, behavioral or learning challenges, and experience accessing systems for support for your child’s needs.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
Salary : $800 - $4,000
